The ATM transaction fee, also known as a Direct Access Fee (DAF) is a charge for all cash withdrawals from an ATM. You'll see this fee before you confirm your withdrawal.

This fee means that we can maintain and operate ATMs - an important resource to reduce so called cash deserts which are on the increase due to bank branches closing.

You will notice this fee at ATMs in many European countries. 

How will I know what fee I'll pay?

We display this fee on screen when you're withdrawing money. You'll also see it on your receipt printout. 

You can cancel your withdrawal at any time before cash is dispensed by clicking the 'Cancel' button on the keyboard.
